I have been 7 days without taking my dose of Nardil . I stop cold turkey because I did not
received my medicine from the pharmacy ( very common)
Just like the others times that I have done this, I feel better OFF Nardil but only the first days of discontinuating the medicine. I have recovered my libido ( wow I had forgot how it feels like), I am losing a little of weigth and I feel with less fear around people. On the other hand I have that terrible discontinuation side effect of having vivd dreams, nigthmares are affecting my sleep, I wake up punching to the air and screaming. I also feels a little bit melancholic , I could cry any moment I want to.I have received my Medicine yesterday. Im gonna stay another days OFF Nardil to lose more weigth and then I will restart with 30mg. I remember last time I did this, I felt so great and happy, that is why I want to do it again. This effect lasts only 10 days, so Iīll go straigth to 60 and then to 90mg and see what happen
what do you think of my plan?
Cheers !

Hi, Tep. I've forgotten what sex is, since being on Nardil 45 mg. When I've gone off Nardil previously, I felt better for a short time, becore the anxiolytic effect wore off. Not sure of the effect of stopping cold turkey and starting back up. However, to me, doesn't seem much different from tapering off and trying a new med. By yjr way, I did try Nardil 90 mg. to see if that would be enough to let me stop taking Klonopin (short-term memory impairment is inconvenient to say the least). Experienced what pdocs refer to as orthostic hypotension. I would feel faint when standing up suddenly or even when exercising. Seemed the higher dose significantly lowers blood pressure. The big question - are you willing to go without sex for the rest of the 11 months of the year you are on Nardil?

> JohnHi John, I believe that If I achieve a complete remission of my Social Phobia on 90 mg of Nardil , I would try as many things as possible to help combat the sex related issues(even those alternatives that are contraindicated).
I have read here some medicines that could help.
I would have to try them one by one.
Sex is always important for a good healtregards!

I donīt know how this is gonna last but I am
feeling pretty well. I feel like a normal
person again. Sometimes I think that all the medicines just blind me and they do not represent
a real solution for my problem. However
when I start to get depressed and anxious
I run to take them. even If I can not get 100%
relief they prevent me from depression, although
they donīt give me a normal lifeI feel so calm now, I feel alive. I wish everything could stay like this forever.
