How are you dealing with no sex drive? I haven't dated in years, recently met someone who is very interested in me. I was honest about being BP and not ready or not sure if or how much I could give to seeing someone. The biggest part of this comment was that I have no sex drive (I didnt tell him that). He is totally understanding, and so far he is not scared away. He did tell me that his mom is a paranoid schizophrenic. We have gone out a few times and I really "tried" in a jr high way, but I wasn't feeling anything. I want to give this a try, he really likes me, but how can I start a relationship like this??????
Any suggestions?

Boy, this is exactly the opposite of my problem! No sarcasm intended, I'm sorry...I hope you feel all the right sort of feelings for this guy, maybe that would boost your sexual feelings...like...do you trust him, how long have you known him, do you believe that comment about his Mom, etc. Maybe if you are on meds it is detracting from your sexual feelings. Anyway, doing the Jr. High thing doesn't sound too good, and you know it won't work. But then I can't have sex just for the sake of sex, I have got to feel connected to the man. The following comment is personal, someone (gee guess who) got me to use a vibrator, but that's only as good as your severest sexual frustration level and isn't as satisfying as a man. Don't think I am wacko here, but anything is better than doing it with someone who doesn't feel the right things for you, or someone who doesn't really feel for you period. Okay, I've embarassed myself, good luck and I'm out!
