to my divorce attorney. I've applied at a zillion places but nothing has come my way yet. I can be quite impatient at times, though, so maybe I'm not being realistic about wanting to get an offer pretty quickly after being out of the work force for nearly five years.
I just wanted to post a quick note here to all of you who have supported me through this so far. I'm trying to stay positive for my and my children's future!!!! Waiting for that phone to ring leading me to empowerment!!!

I asked because NAMI (national alliance for mental illness- or something similar)website used to have links to lawyers, some with sliding scale to assist those of us suffering from mental illnesses who have found ourselves in need of legal services.
It's worth a try- check it out. I hope it helps you with the retainer issue.
