Sweet Dreams of You

Posted by AdaGrace on November 14, 2004, at 11:23:37

"Patsy Cline"

Sweet dreams of you,
Every night I go through
Why can't I forget the past
start loving someone new

Instead of haaaaaaaaing
sweet dreams about you.

You don't love me,
it plain,

Forgot the rest......
Anyone want to finish?

But.......Dr Bob....
Can you sing the rest of the song?
I really want to know how many Patsy Cline fans there are.

I am so crummy at remembering lyrics, and Ms. Cline is a real favourite of mine. I love "Walkin' After Midnight" too.

My favorite "Patsy Cline" song is

"If You've Got Leavin' on Your Mind"

followed by

"She's Got You"

and then

"Seven Lonely Days"

I can sing them all. Patsy was my Mother's favorite. Being the Texas Yellow Rose that she was, she was such a country girl at heart and grew up in the perfect era. I wanted my sisters and I to sing "Crazy" at Mom & Dad's 50th but they said no.....she died 5 days later in a horrible car wreck, and I was never able to sing it for her. She would have loved that. I cannot hear that song now without thinking of her and crying. My husband took me away for a weekend a few months after she died. We saw a wreck on the highway on the way there, horrible flash back for me, and then we went out to eat at a place where the waitresses sang. The waitress sang "Crazy" It's bad enough to cry uncotrollably at home. But to be in a public place stuffed with people and sob loudly, and not be able to get the heck out of there....that was very difficult. I don't do public crying very well. Didn't cry at the visitation, and didn't cry at the funeral. But boy did I cry in the car, loudly, harshly, emphatically.........

Now you know my Patsy Cline Story..........

Ada, still in pain this morning after such a horrible weekend, Grace

I'm sorry the songs do not link, so I linked her name again.....

I remember "Crazy - Patsy Cline" and there is another one that I like that has eluded me at this very moment.
