Hi...I am a sophamore in High school, and I have these two friends(not my only friends...) that are girls...Kristen, who i have known for about 4 years...and laurah, who i have known for about 2 years...both really good friends, nothing more. Than this year, tina phillips shows up...starts out with new person, then my friend...and than my friends friends. But my best friend jordan cornette, told her literally to F*** off, and she has ever since...unless of course im around. I am not that cold-hearted to tell her that, or i simply would...I want to say good bye to tina, cause she smokes/drinks and that is 2 things i hate doing, but the main reason i have to let her go...is that kristen and laurah, HATE tina...they dont want me to have anything to do with her, so this is where i ask for your advice...please help! im desperate!!!

I know it must feel like people are ignoring you, and I'm sorry about that.
I, myself, simply don't know how to help. It has been over twenty years for me since I was in your position and I honestly have no idea what to say...
Maybe just that you can be a friend to more than one group of friends at a time. And I think you are strong enough to keep saying no to Tina when she wants to drink or smoke and you don't. Who knows, you could wind up being a good influence on her if she's thinking about quitting!
